Mitchell Fenton Mitchell Fenton has more than twenty years of Mr. Fenton was handpicked by the senior management of Blackwater Security Consulting (BSC) to assist former Navy Special Warfare (NAVSPECWAR) personnel in building Blackwater's Executive/Close Protection training. As one of only a few law enforcement officers chosen, he served on domestic and international security teams during classified operations for the U.S. government and holds a top secret clearance. His performance at BSC led to other opportunities as a contractor. He assisted companies such as Sytex Group Inc. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania on infiltration teams conducting counterterrorism penetration testing on classified U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) contracts utilizing Red Cell techniques. He also assisted Zodiac of North America Inc. of Stevensville, Maryland in building their Zodiac Maritime Academy (ZMA), which trains SWAT personnel and first responders in the use of inflatable boats and maritime tactical techniques. Mr. Fenton's combination of experience, personality, and team-building skills have created opportunities for him with some of the country's wealthiest communities. He is a recognized expert in security operations and business-related concerns for private clubs, providing consulting services to a number of elite clubs in the New York/New Jersey area. In 2004, Mr. Fenton was selected to hold a senior management position as the executive security director of Baltusrol Golf Club, a premier private club in Springfield, New Jersey. While at Baltusrol, he worked in conjunction with state and federal law enforcement to direct security operations during the 2005 PGA Championship. An accomplished author, Mr. Fenton has published several articles on private club security and safety for Club Management Magazine, the official publication of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA). His insight and methods of providing security for clubs, resorts, and the hospitality industry has been called "cutting edge" by recognized experts in the field. |
